Puppet Corps, puppet army, puppet division...Whatever its called.
Arrrgggh! This drawing was Killerrrrr :faint: And my Eyes freaken HURT! :dohtwo:
and Jesus, it took me waaay longer than it should have.

Stuff about it-
I made up All of these dudes and their pooppets (so in a way you can consider them my OC's) Cept for Kanky of course and His pooppets, and the one with the bundle on his back, I actually Saw this character in the Naruto manga; I dont have my manga with me though, but I saw him on the page right after Gaara was revived by Chiyo and all the sand shinobi were there with him.
Also, the Green haired guys puppet..Im not sure what it is, but it's like some Tapir creature; saw that design in the Naruto manga also, on the page where Chiyo is in the puppet storage room getting her scrolls.
The girls puppet resembles that of the darkstalkers character Hsein-ko (been seeing alot of fanart of darkstalkers lately) Thought she was cool lookin' so I took some ref.
I didnt want to draw like 100 people in this pic, cause I have no idea how many puppet masters there are in the Sand Village, but I TRIED to make it look like an army of some sorts by adding silhouettes behind the people.

'course I am kind of frustrated that Right when Im near completion of this, the Sand ninja show up in the manga, so now Kankuro has a different look. But there's no way Imma change Kankuro in this pic..dont feel like it now >:/
anyways-
Hope this pic does some justice, and gets some acknowledgment for the hardwork that was put into it.

The shading on the clothes and skin is excellent, and your character and puppet designs are unique and clearly different from each other. Nice use of the unnamed canon character. The color palette used is highly complementary, using a nice range of brown/tan hues with red, maroon, and blue accents. Human proportions are good, and you've added the right amount of detail to the background to draw our eyes to the center and add perspective. If I'm able to offer any suggestion, it would simply be to add a touch more depth to the background in the top left corner. Excellent job. :+fav:

The drawings of THIS artist are ALWAYS a pure eye-candy.
But THIS one surpasses EVERYTHING before.
"Puppet-Brigade" is packed full of LOVELY details and the textiles of the persons and espeacially the background are drawn nearly photorealistic. :clap:
The colours are choosen very well for a desert-like scene.
And the design of each person (many based on Masashi Kishimot´s famous "Naruto") is realized very individually too.
Everything is composed with such an intensive impression, which underlines EVERYTHING what an awesome Ninja-army of skillfull puppeteers needs!
All in all a very capturing picture, which lets you watch it for several minutes and you STILL will disvover something new in it. :thumbsup:

I actually have an OC who goes with Kankuro, their daughter is a puppeteer as well. Though I need to redraw her :XD:
